January this year 2025, Caritas Sierra Leone Makeni had the honor of receiving a delegation of high dignitaries from CRS Sierra Leone. The purpose of the visit was to engage in a Local Leadership Reflection, emphasizing the progress made and the partnership between the two organizations, under the Advancing Local Leadership in the Right Way (ALLRight Fund project).
The dignitaries were warmly welcomed in the Bishop’s Conference Hall by the Vicar General, who represented the Bishop, along with the Director of Caritas Makeni and his team. The delegation from CRS included notable figures such as:

The discussions focused on the shared vision of empowering Caritas Sierra Leone Makeni to continue to champion local development initiatives effectively, with robust operational systems and inclusive programming supported by strong MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) processes and internal controls.
