Caritas Sierra Leone Makeni proudly received the prestigious “Best NGO” award for 2024 in Koinadugu District, Northern part of Sierra Leone. The recognition was pronounced during a well-attended ceremony on December 30, 2024, at the Kabala City Plaza, organized by the Bintumani Scorpion Football Team.
This award highlights Caritas Makeni’s outstanding contributions to community development, touching lives across sectors such as agriculture, health, education, peacebuilding, and child protection.
Director – Caritas SL Makeni – Rev. Fr. Benjamin H. Sesay dedicated the award to staff, donors, and partners, reaffirming their commitment to empowering disadvantaged communities in the Northern part of the country.
The organization remains steadfast in its mission to supporting vulnerable population, fostering sustainable development for all, regardless of creed, tribe, gender, or race.
